Japan : Introduction
Japan has many great acomplishments in history. From their ancient past to their present they have come a long way very quickly. They had been late to the "industiral party" and in 1870 they had finaly started. They became one of the most advanced industrial countries in just 61 years where Britian has started in the 1700's. Japan has come a long way in a very short time making them the reason for my chosen blog topic.
Resources
Japan is very poor in recources and has almost nothing to offer. Even with their tradgic experience with radiation they still decided to side with it. They have come to rely on on nuclear power because of their poor state of resources. Because of their great advancement in the economy they needed power, so nuclear power was perfect for them. It seemed like a no brained because of its new fronteir in the tchnological industry where Japan has always excelled in. Is helped the construction industry and has open business opportunities. They have created about 54 power pants making it the second greatest amount in one country following France.http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/03/14/japan.nuclear.history.qa/index.html
Interaction
People in Japan are, of course, close to the coast. This means the temperature doesnt change much like in the US so people only need to dress for what it is like at the time. In Japana people eat a lot of seafood and easy to groe crops such as rice because of the of the limited land that they have. Because of the small amount of land andd the great amount of population they have changed what kind of homes ley live in suh as, apartments. They have made smaller homes ans the amount of furniture is much less than what we usually see in America.
Technology
Technology is a very big part of Japan. It has become a big part of their culture with anime and video games coming from all corners of Japan. There is even a town dedicated to their amazing cartoon style, anime, and for video games. In Akihabara, it seems like a giant area of comic and video game stores. Actually, people are expressing their culture through, what seems to be, a big costume party! People dress up as their favorite video game or anime characters, cosplay, and are able to feel like their favorite characters.
